Mold And Die Making
At Season Components, we begin the Mold and Die Making process with a drawing submitted by the client. For those who do not have a drawing available, our engineers can design a cost-effective yet innovative mold from your sample using CAD/CAM software. When this process is complete, toolmakers build a mold using CNC machine, milling machine, and more to make the exact mold as per the drawing. We focus on precision and go through scrupulous inspections before test shots are conducted. CMM is used throughout the process for precise measurement.
The Season Components production line operates 24 hours a day, thus delivering a fast turnaround time for our customers.
We encourage customer involvement in each step of the mold making process, from drawing evaluation to final approval with tooling reports sent to customers on a weekly basis to keep them informed. Vibrant drawings will be created in either PDF or PPT format for easy comprehension for discussion purposes.
If the client requests a sample of their product for design optimization before investing a lot of time or money, we at Season Components can create one using its Fused Deposition Molding machine (FDM). In a matter of hours, this rapid prototype machine creates prototype samples in ABS material. This saves the client a large amount of time and money as opposed to going through the entire mold making process.
